Auto Electrician

Boart Longyear Sole Co.,LTD is a global leader in drilling services and mineral exploration equipment, and we are seeking an Auto Electrician to ensure the reliability and safety of our fleet. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems on a range of heavy mining and drilling vehicles and equipment. Your expertise will directly support our operational uptime and the efficiency of our field teams in Laos.

Working closely with our mechanical and engineering teams, you will troubleshoot complex wiring, control systems, and onboard electronics, performing both preventive and corrective maintenance. You will be expected to interpret technical diagrams, use diagnostic tools, and ensure all electrical work meets safety standards and company protocols. This hands-on role requires precision, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

We value candidates with a strong background in auto electrical systems, ideally within heavy equipment or mining environments. Experience with diesel engine electronics, hydraulic systems, and modern vehicle networks is highly regarded. You should be comfortable working independently or as part of a team, and willing to travel to remote job sites as needed.
