CAREER OPPORTUNITY WITH TIRESPEED Position Title: Manager Division: Operation Report to: General Manager Location: Vientiane Capital Business group: Automotive Service Centers Job purpose: The Automotive Service Manager is responsible for the overall commercial success, operational excellence, and financial performance of the assigned TireSpeed service center. This role provides strategic leadership to the entire branch team—including service advisors, parts coordinators, and the workshop technical floor—ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols, driving customer loyalty program enrollment, and maintaining maximum workshop productivity. Duties and Responsibilities: P&L Accountability: Manage the branch’s daily revenue, operational costs, margins, and monthly profitability targets. Service & Retail Sales: Actively promote TireSpeed’s premium maintenance packages, service offerings, and certified auto parts to meet and exceed monthly sales targets. Loyalty & Retention Program: Spearhead the branch's customer retention initiatives, ensuring the team efficiently registers regular clients to enjoy exclusive program benefits, discounts, and proactive monthly maintenance reminders. Workflow Optimization: Partner closely with the Senior Mechanical Supervisor to ensure optimal service bay utilization, smooth parts procurement, and minimized customer wait times. Customer Experience Excellence: Oversee the frontend customer service area, managing customer consultations, providing clear and upfront quotation transparency, and resolving complex customer queries professionally. Operational Flexibility: Supervise specialized branch offerings, including on-demand vehicle pickup/delivery within our 5-km service radius, mobile on-site repairs, and towing services. Staff Management: Lead, mentor, and evaluate a cross-functional team of mechanics, service advisors, and administrative staff, fostering a highly motivated, customer-first workplace culture. Inventory & Asset Control: Oversee the branch warehouse, maintaining tight stock controls over parts, tires, and premium lubricants, while supporting our policy of allowing external parts installation under standard labor rates. Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, ensuring the workshop floor, equipment calibration, and chemical handling strictly meet corporate standards. Perform the duties assigned by General Manager. Requirements & Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Automotive Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 4–6 years of retail management experience, ideally within the automotive industry (such as modern service networks, tire centers, or dealership operations). Leadership Capabilities: Proven track record of managing a retail team, achieving commercial targets, and successfully resolving customer complaints. Technical Familiarity: Strong understanding of general car maintenance operations (tires, brake systems, lubricants) and comfort utilizing retail point-of-sale (POS) systems and workshop management software. Language Skills: Full professional fluency in spoken and written Lao. Good functional proficiency in English is highly preferred for executive reporting and reviewing business metrics.
