As a Mechanical Coordinator on our Projects team, you will be the vital link between engineering design, procurement, and on-site construction, ensuring that mechanical systems are installed, commissioned, and handed over smoothly and safely. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of our expanding operations. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to track mechanical work progress, resolve technical issues, and maintain alignment with project schedules and budgets. You will review engineering drawings and specifications, oversee quality control during installation, and support commissioning activities. This role also involves managing documentation, preparing progress reports, and ensuring all mechanical work complies with company safety and environmental standards. We are looking for a professional with a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least five years of experience in project coordination within heavy industry, mining, or a similar environment. You should have a solid understanding of mechanical systems, including pumps, conveyors, and piping, as well as familiarity with project management principles. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
