This is a leadership role at ທະນາຄານ ສົ່ງເສີມກະສິກຳ ຈຳກັດ, the bank dedicated to supporting Laos’s agricultural sector. As Chief Risk Officer (CRO), you will have enterprise-wide responsibility for safeguarding the bank’s stability and integrity. Your work directly enables the bank to finance growth in farming and rural communities while operating within a sound risk framework. You will lead the combined functions of risk management, legal and compliance, and internal audit. This means establishing and enforcing policies that address credit, market, operational, and liquidity risks. You will ensure the bank complies with all regulatory requirements from the Bank of Laos, oversee legal matters including contracts and disputes, and direct the internal audit team to independently assess controls and processes. A critical part of your role is building a culture of risk awareness across the organization. We are looking for a seasoned professional with deep experience in banking or finance, specifically in audit, accounting, and risk management. You must have strong knowledge of compliance and legal principles in the Lao financial sector. Proven leadership at a senior level is essential, as is the ability to communicate complex risks clearly to the board and executive team.
