Yusen Logistics (Lao) Co., Ltd is seeking a Customs Clearance Manager to lead and oversee all customs operations for cross-border freight movement, ensuring that goods move smoothly and legally between Laos and international destinations. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for customs authorities, clients, and internal teams, managing compliance with Lao customs regulations and trade agreements while optimizing clearance timelines and reducing delays. Your expertise will directly impact the efficiency of supply chains, supporting businesses that rely on Yusen’s integrated logistics solutions. You will supervise a team of clearance officers, coordinate documentation for air, sea, and land shipments, and resolve any customs-related issues that arise at borders or ports. The position requires strong knowledge of Harmonized System classifications, duty calculations, and import/export restrictions, as well as the ability to build productive relationships with government officials. A background in transportation and logistics is essential, and experience with airline or aviation services is highly valued for managing airfreight clearances.
