Internal-External Job Advertisement NTPC is currently looking for motivated and qualified candidates interested in the following position: Position:  Electrical Foreman Workplace:  Sangkeo Village, Gnommalath District, Khammouane Province Application Submission Deadline:    18 June 2026   Job Purpose: Responsible for supervising and performing preventive, condition-based, and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment and systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. Support team management, troubleshoot equipment failures, implement technical improvements, and ensure compliance with company procedures, QHSE requirements, and hydro-safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Ensure personal safety and the safety of colleagues, contractors, and outsourced personnel under supervision. Perform preventive, condition-based, and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment, including generators, motors, circuit breakers, AC/DC systems, and earthing systems. Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and emergency repairs in compliance with company procedures and safety standards. Lead and coordinate electrical maintenance projects and activities from planning through completion. Support team leaders in daily maintenance planning, manpower management, and work coordination. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of maintenance activities, documentation, and records in SAP. Lead testing, commissioning, installation, and overhaul activities to ensure equipment reliability and performance. Analyze equipment condition and maintenance data, identify root causes of failures, and recommend technical improvements. Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, JHEA processes, electrical isolation procedures, and contractor safety management. Prepare work plans, manage spare parts and consumables, and monitor work quality, schedules, and budgets for assigned projects. Ensure proper use, maintenance, and control of electrical tools, equipment, and workshop facilities. Participate in on-call, on-duty during management period, emergency response, and support staff development and safety awareness programs. Competency Requirements:   Bachelor's Degree or Higher Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Electrotechnical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering and Maintenance. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hydropower or industrial electrical maintenance. Knowledge of electrical systems, generators, motors, PLC, SCADA, protection systems, and maintenance practices. Strong troubleshooting skills, problem-solving, Teamwork spirit, leadership, and communication skills. Good understanding of electrical safety standards and equipment reliability. Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software; intermediate English proficiency.
