As Facility Manager, you will play a central role in ensuring our laboratories, offices, and critical infrastructure operate reliably and safely, directly enabling the impactful scientific work that defines our mission. You will manage all aspects of facility operations, including the planning and execution of engineering projects, preventative maintenance programs, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Your background in mechanical, electrical, and energy systems will be key in optimizing building performance, reducing operational costs, and overseeing upgrades to enhance efficiency and resilience. You will coordinate with external contractors, internal research teams, and administrative staff to ensure seamless service delivery. This role demands a proactive approach to both immediate troubleshooting and long-term strategic planning. You will develop budgets, monitor utility consumption, and lead initiatives to improve sustainability and energy management. Your ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders will be essential for aligning facility operations with the institute’s broader objectives.
