We are looking for a Field Survey Technician to join our team and play a hands-on role in collecting accurate land and crop data that directly informs our project planning and resource allocation. Your work in the field will help shape more efficient and sustainable agricultural strategies for local communities. In this role, you will travel to designated survey sites to gather measurements, soil samples, and crop health indicators using GPS equipment and mobile data collection tools. You will ensure all data is recorded precisely and submitted on time, working closely with senior technicians to verify findings and maintain quality standards. This position requires comfort working outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions and terrains across rural areas. You will collaborate with a supportive team of surveyors and agronomists, receiving clear guidance on daily tasks while also having the responsibility to report any anomalies or access issues you encounter in the field. We value attention to detail, as your data will be used for important decisions on irrigation, fertilization, and land use. Training on specific equipment and protocols will be provided to help you succeed from day one. We welcome candidates with a practical mindset, basic numeracy skills, and a willingness to learn. Prior experience in fieldwork or agriculture is an advantage but not required, as we look for reliability and a strong work ethic. Physical fitness and the ability to navigate with a map or GPS app are essential.
