Riverside Boutique Resort in Vang Vieng is seeking a Financial Controller to lead the financial operations of our intimate, high-end property. In this role, you will oversee all accounting functions, from daily bookkeeping and payroll to monthly financial reporting and budgeting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations. Your work will directly support the resort’s strategic growth, providing the ownership with clear, actionable insights to enhance profitability and guest experience. You will manage a small finance team, implement internal controls, and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors. Your deep understanding of Lao accounting standards and tax requirements will be essential, as will your ability to translate complex financial data into straightforward recommendations for non-financial stakeholders. Experience in hospitality or boutique property management is highly valued. We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to working with department heads. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel is required, along with fluency in English and Lao.
