General Accountant

East Minerals Laos Sole Co., Ltd is a minerals and resources company operating in Laos, where sound financial management is essential to supporting responsible and sustainable operations. The General Accountant plays a central role in maintaining the integrity of the company's financial records and ensuring that all reporting meets both internal standards and regulatory requirements.

In this position, you will be responsible for the full range of general accounting duties, including the preparation of financial statements, management of the general ledger, and month-end and year-end close processes. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate recording of transactions and timely reconciliation of accounts.

Taxation compliance is a key part of this role. You will prepare and submit tax returns in accordance with Lao tax regulations, monitor changes in tax legislation, and liaise with relevant authorities as needed. Your attention to detail will also support internal and external audit processes, helping to ensure that documentation is complete, accurate, and readily available when required.

Credit control forms another important dimension of this role. You will monitor outstanding receivables, follow up on overdue accounts, and work with business teams to maintain healthy cash flow. A proactive approach to managing credit risk will be essential to protecting the company's financial position.
