Chaleun Sekong Energy Co., Ltd is seeking a Head of Section of Operation to lead the daily execution of our energy projects in Sekong Province. This role is central to ensuring that our operations run safely, efficiently, and in line with project milestones, directly supporting the company’s contribution to Laos’ energy sector growth. As the operational backbone, you will coordinate engineering teams, oversee mechanical and electrical systems, and drive performance across natural resource initiatives. You will manage the planning and implementation of project schedules, resource allocation, and quality control, working closely with cross-functional teams to meet technical and regulatory standards. Your background in engineering project management will be critical for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical challenges, optimizing workflows, and maintaining equipment reliability. With a focus on continuous improvement, you will also mentor section staff to build capacity and ensure smooth handovers between phases. The ideal candidate brings substantial experience in energy or natural resources, with proven leadership in managing complex engineering projects. Strong communication skills in both English and Lao are essential, as is a hands-on approach to problem-solving in remote or field-based settings. A degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering discipline is required, along with a track record of delivering results under pressure.
