Phonesack Group Co., Ltd is a leading diversified corporation operating across mining, energy, agriculture, and construction sectors in Laos. As our business grows and regulatory landscapes evolve, we are seeking an In-House Legal Counsel to join our legal team and provide strategic support directly to our operations. In this role, you will be responsible for advising on a wide range of commercial and corporate legal matters, ensuring our activities remain compliant with local and international laws while protecting our business interests. You will work closely with department heads and senior management to review contracts, negotiate agreements, and mitigate legal risks in procurement, joint ventures, and project development. Your day-to-day will involve drafting and reviewing legal documents, managing disputes, and advising on regulatory filings, labor law, and corporate governance. This position requires someone who can think practically and communicate complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal colleagues, enabling informed business decisions. We are looking for a qualified lawyer with a strong foundation in commercial and corporate law, ideally with experience in extractive industries or large-scale infrastructure projects. You should have excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in Lao and English is essential, as you will liaise with both local authorities and international partners.
