The National Regulatory Authority for UXO/Mine Action Sector in Lao PDR invites applications for the position of INGOs Coordinator. This role directly supports the coordination and oversight of international non-governmental organizations operating within the country’s mine action sector, ensuring that their programs align with national priorities and regulatory frameworks. As the primary liaison, you will facilitate effective communication between the Authority and INGO partners, contributing to the safe and efficient clearance of unexploded ordnance across Lao PDR. In this capacity, you will review and monitor project proposals, implementation plans, and progress reports from INGOs, providing technical guidance and ensuring compliance with national standards. Your responsibilities include organizing regular coordination meetings, preparing briefings, and supporting the development of sector-wide strategies. You will also assist in resolving operational challenges and promoting best practices among partner organizations. We are looking for a professional with proven experience in programme or project management within the non-profit or humanitarian sector. Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies and international teams. Familiarity with the mine action context in Lao PDR or similar environments is an advantage.
