As an Instrument Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the precision and reliability of the systems that control our plant’s operations, from turbine monitoring to safety interlocks. Your work directly supports the consistent generation of electricity while ensuring compliance with rigorous safety and environmental standards.

You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of instrumentation systems, including specification, installation, calibration, and troubleshooting. This involves collaborating closely with mechanical and electrical teams to integrate sensors, control valves, and analyzers into existing processes. You will also manage projects to upgrade outdated equipment, optimize performance, and reduce downtime, drawing on your engineering project management experience to keep initiatives on schedule and within budget.

The role requires a strong foundation in both electrical and mechanical principles, as you will interpret P&IDs, select appropriate instruments for harsh environments, and oversee contractor work during outages. Your ability to diagnose complex issues and implement effective solutions will be key to maintaining plant availability and extending equipment life.
