Site-based employees work a roster of 20 days on, 8 days off; 9 days on, 5 days off; or 14 days on, 7 days off for shift work, while Vientiane – based employees work 5 days per week with 2 days off. Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Team Leader – UG. The UG Maintenance Technician – Auto Electrical is responsible for performing electrical diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on underground mobile mining equipment to ensure optimal equipment performance and safety.   Your responsibilities will include:   Perform diagnostics, electrical fault finding, repairs, and preventive maintenance on underground mobile equipment  Carry out auto electrical troubleshooting on control systems, wiring harnesses, sensors, and electrical components  Repair and replace electrical and electronic components on underground drill and mobile fleet  Minimize equipment downtime through effective fault diagnosis and timely repairs  Ensure all work is completed safely in accordance with site procedures and standards  Work independently or under limited supervision when required  Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports  Report work progress and issues to the Team Leader/Supervisor    To be successful in this role, you will require:   Trade qualification in Auto Electrical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)  Minimum 2 years’ experience in auto electrical maintenance on mobile or underground equipment  Experience with underground mining equipment is an advantage  Strong understanding of CANBUS systems, electrical schematics, and fault-finding techniques  High-voltage systems experience is an advantage  Ability to work independently and as part of a team  Strong safety awareness, proactive mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement    For questions regarding this position or our recruitment process, please contact our recruitment team on +856 (0) 21 268 000.  If you’d like to learn more about us, please visit  www.PanAust.com.au If you are interested in applying for the position, we encourage you to send your application to:  [email protected] or apply online via our website at: https://career10.successfactors.com/sfcareer/jobreqcareer?jobId=17132&company=PanAust
