MANUFACTURING ENGINEER Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacturing of parts.  Draws up schedules to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet committed shipping dates. Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements. Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to established process flow and lead times. Confers with department Engineers and Supervisors to determine status of assigned projects. Expedites operations that delay schedules and work with the Master Schedulers for alternate schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. Participate in the continuous improvement programs with Engineering team to achieve higher production efficiency and reliability. Participate in the Quality Change Process Checklist (QCPC) for new product transfer and or changes in existing processes.
