The Reducing Rural Poverty and Malnutrition Project II (RRPM II) is implemented by the Department of Rural Development and Poverty Reduction under Laos' Ministry of Agriculture and Environment. The project targets food insecurity and malnutrition in rural communities through integrated agricultural development and nutrition interventions. RRPM II works in partnership with international development organisations to strengthen smallholder farming systems, improve access to nutritious food, and build the capacity of local communities and district-level staff in targeted provinces across Laos. The project recruits technical and support staff with expertise in rural development, agriculture, nutrition, and project management to deliver meaningful outcomes in some of Laos' most vulnerable communities.
