Reporting to Manager of Technical Service & Project , the role of the is responsible for developing innovative technical solutions to improve the performance of Sepon Carlin-type gold and massive sulphide copper ore treatment, including initiating technical concepts, designing the testwork to verify concepts, preliminary assessment of innovative solutions in terms of financial and technology maturity. This role may assist the plant production for daily troubleshooting and medium to long term metallurgical improvement programs time-to-time. Key Responsibilities: Initiating and implementing medium to small projects of metallurgical performance improvement. Drafting Process Design Criteria (PDC), Process Flow Diagram (PFD), and Piping & Instrument Diagram (PID) of small metallurgical improvement projects as well as preliminary financial assessment. Reviewing process design of major projects. Conducting tests to screen consumables (e.g., steel ball and flotation chemicals) to define chances to improve cost effectiveness. Contributing to recommendations on strategic and continuous process improvement plans. Mentoring, coaching and training for metallurgists, graduate metallurgists, and metallurgical technicians. Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Bachelor degree or higher in Mineral Processing, Metallurgical, or Chemical engineering.
