Resource Geologist

Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company operates one of Laos’s most significant mining projects, and as a Resource Geologist, you will play a central role in defining and expanding the mineral assets that underpin our operations. Your work will directly inform strategic mine planning and long-term resource development, ensuring that our geological models are accurate, robust, and ready for extraction. You will be responsible for interpreting drill hole data, updating resource models, and conducting grade control assessments that guide daily mining decisions.

This position offers you the chance to apply your technical expertise in a hands-on, field-oriented environment. You will collaborate closely with exploration, mine planning, and survey teams, integrating new data into existing models and improving our understanding of the deposit. Proficiency in geological modeling software and a solid grasp of resource estimation methodologies are essential, as you will be expected to produce reports and recommendations that meet international reporting standards.

We are looking for a geologist with a degree in geology or a related field and several years of experience in mineral resource estimation within a mining context. Experience in gold or base metal operations is advantageous, as is familiarity with the geological setting of Southeast Asia. You should be comfortable working on site, often with limited supervision, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
