You will take ownership of the institution’s risk management framework, developing and implementing policies and procedures that align with both local regulations and international best practices. Your work will directly support decision-making across lending operations, treasury, and strategic planning, helping to balance opportunity with prudent risk exposure. You will also lead risk assessments, monitor key indicators, and report findings to senior management and the board. This role requires a strong foundation in banking or finance, with hands-on experience in credit, operational, market, and liquidity risk management. You should have a proven ability to analyse complex data sets, anticipate emerging threats, and design controls that are both effective and practical. Familiarity with the Lao financial environment and relevant regulatory requirements will be a distinct advantage. You will collaborate closely with departments including credit, compliance, and internal audit, ensuring a cohesive approach to risk governance.
