Its focus is on enhancing fiscal policies, building reserves, and integrating into the global gold market.    NOW HIRING!   Position Title:   Service Unit Manager  Location : Pakse Department: Operations Report to:   Head of Operations Location: Lao Bullion Bank, Pakse District, Champasak District, Lao PDR Business group: Banking Job Summary The Service Unit Manager is responsible for leading and managing a specific banking unit to ensure efficient operations, high service quality, risk compliance, and achievement of business targets. This role oversees daily activities, supervises staff performance, implements bank policies, and coordinates with other departments to support the bank’s strategic objectives. The position ensures that the unit operates in accordance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and service standards while continuously improving processes, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Role & Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations of the service unit to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery.  Lead, coach, and supervise service staff, including scheduling, performance management, and development. Monitor service quality, productivity, and key performance indicators (KPIs) Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.  Handle escalated customer service or client issues and resolve service-related concerns effectively. Develop and implement operational procedures and process improvements. Manage budgets, staffing levels, and resource utilization for the service unit. Coordinate with internal departments and stakeholders to support business objectives. Prepare reports on unit performance, staffing, and operational outcomes. Promote a positive work culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, banking, Finance and Economics. 5-8 years of experience in banking. Strong understanding of banking operations, products, and internal controls. Good knowledge of banking regulations, AML/CFT, and compliance requirements. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. familiarity with core banking systems and digital banking platform. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong in English communication.
