Supervisor – Shutdown

Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company is a leading mining operation in Laos, and the Supervisor – Shutdown plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient coordination of planned maintenance and repair activities across the site. You will be responsible for overseeing shutdown planning, execution, and resource allocation, working closely with maintenance teams and contractors to minimize downtime and maintain production targets. This position directly supports the company’s commitment to operational excellence and safety compliance in a challenging industrial environment.

In this role, you will lead daily pre-shift meetings, monitor work progress against schedules, and ensure all safety protocols and standard operating procedures are followed. You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to resolve any issues that arise during shutdown events, and you will prepare detailed reports on performance, costs, and lessons learned for continuous improvement. Your ability to communicate clearly and make sound decisions under pressure will be essential to keeping complex project timelines on track.

The ideal candidate brings several years of supervisory experience in mining, heavy industry, or oil and gas, with strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. Proven skills in planning, risk assessment, and contractor management are required, along with a valid supervisor certification or equivalent. Fluency in English and Lao is preferred, as you will interact with diverse teams and external auditors.
