IUCN, the global authority on nature conservation, seeks a National Consultant to serve as a Technical Liaison in Laos. This role connects IUCN’s project teams with local partners, government agencies, and community stakeholders to ensure that conservation initiatives are effective, inclusive, and aligned with national priorities. You will play a key part in translating complex technical information into actionable guidance, facilitating workshops, and supporting the delivery of program objectives.

As a Technical Liaison, you will manage communication channels between IUCN and its partners, identify capacity gaps, and contribute to the design of sustainable solutions. Your understanding of local contexts and INGO operations will help bridge scientific knowledge with on-the-ground realities. You will also assist in monitoring project progress, preparing reports, and ensuring that activities meet donor requirements.

This is a consultancy position that offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of conservation and development in one of the region’s most biodiverse countries. IUCN provides a supportive environment where your expertise shapes meaningful outcomes. If you are a skilled facilitator with a background in natural resource management or related fields, this role allows you to make a lasting impact.
