The Group’s regional presence spans seven countries, including Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei, Cambodia, and Lao PDR.   We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the following position:   Position:  Treasury Manager  Primary Objective: The Treasury Manager is responsible for managing the Bank’s balance sheet activities, including Asset and Liability Management (ALM), liquidity management, foreign exchange management, funding strategy, capital management, and interbank placements. The role ensures optimal liquidity positioning, compliance with regulatory requirements, effective pricing strategy, and efficient utilization of excess funds while maintaining strong relationships with Head Office (HQ), the Bank of Lao PDR (BOL), and financial institution counterparties.   Responsibility: Manage the Bank’s balance sheet activities, including Asset and Liability Management (ALM), liquidity management, foreign exchange management, funding strategy, capital management, and interbank placements. Ensure optimal liquidity positioning and efficient utilization of excess funds in line with the Bank’s financial objectives. Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management guidelines. Develop and support effective pricing and funding strategies to enhance the Bank’s financial performance. Maintain strong working relationships with Head Office (HQ), the Bank of Lao PDR (BOL), and financial institution counterparties.   Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, or related field.  Professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA or Treasury certification are an advantage.  Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Treasury, ALM, Finance, or Banking Operations.  Strong knowledge of liquidity management, FX operations, funding, and interbank market activities.  Familiar with Bank of Lao PDR regulations and banking treasury practices.  Experience in dealing with Head Office, regulators, and financial institutions.  Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and treasury reporting tools.  Interested candidates must be Lao Citizens.
