Treasury Officer

Fina Deposit Taking Microfinance Institution is a regulated financial institution committed to expanding access to financial services across Laos. The Treasury Officer plays a central role in maintaining the institution's financial stability by managing daily liquidity, optimizing cash positions, and ensuring that funding obligations are met with precision and confidence.

In this role, you will monitor and forecast cash flows, manage relationships with correspondent banks, and oversee the placement of surplus funds in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements. You will prepare treasury reports for senior management and contribute to decisions around interest rate exposure and funding strategy, ensuring the institution remains well-positioned at all times.

You will work closely with finance, operations, and compliance teams to ensure accurate reconciliation of treasury transactions and adherence to the National Bank of the Lao PDR guidelines. Attention to detail and sound judgment are essential, as the decisions made in this role directly affect the institution's ability to serve its customers and meet its obligations.

Candidates should hold a degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related field, along with relevant experience in treasury, banking operations, or financial management. Familiarity with microfinance or deposit-taking institutions is an advantage, and proficiency in financial reporting tools and spreadsheets is expected.
