Internal-External Job Advertisement NTPC is currently looking for motivated and qualified candidates interested in the following position: Position:  Water Quality Officer Workplace:  Sangkeo Village, Gnommalath District, Khammouane Province. Application Submission Deadline: 08 July 2026 Job Purpose:  The Water Quality Officer is responsible for collecting water samples, conducting laboratory analyses, and monitoring water quality across NTPC operational areas, including reservoir, tributaries, groundwater, drinking water, wastewater, and landfill groundwater. The role also supports environmental monitoring and reporting in compliance with NTPC standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Collect water samples from field locations for testing and analysis  Conduct laboratory analysis of water quality parameters  Perform testing for heavy metals, ion components, BOD, water hardness, and organic carbon  Support greenhouse gas emission analysis  Maintain laboratory QA/QC standards  Input analysis data into database and prepare reports  Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment  Coordinate external calibration and maintenance services  Support water supply quality monitoring and weekly testing  Ensure proper hazardous waste disposal from laboratory operations  Participate in environmental awareness campaigns and investigations  Competency Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Sciences, Environmental Sciences, or related field Minimum 3-5 years of experience in chemical laboratory work Strong knowledge of laboratory QA/QC procedures Good analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and high accuracy Good understanding of Lao environmental regulations Language skills: English (Intermediate), Lao (Fluent) Able to work in field and industrial environmental conditions  How to Apply: Interested candidates are invited to submit your cover letter, CV, education, and employment certificate to this link: https://hr.namtheun2.com/jobportal
