NTPC is currently looking for motivated and qualified candidates interested in the following position: Position:  Civil Engineer  Workplace:  Sangkeo Village, Gnommalath District, Khammouane Province Application Submission Deadline:   17 July 2026   Job Purpose: The Civil Engineer is responsible for studying, planning, supervising, and managing maintenance and construction activities for NTPC project roads, access tracks, and civil assets. The role ensures all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with NTPC Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.   Key Responsibilities: Prepare maintenance plans for NTPC civil assets and infrastructure Develop technical documents including ToR, drawings, and BoQ for bidding and procurement Supervise contractors and monitor construction quality and progress Inspect construction materials and verify work quality Review contractors’ invoices and recommend for approval Conduct final inspections and prepare completion certificates Study and validate requirements for new construction or modifications Prepare concept and detailed designs using engineering software Coordinate with internal departments and external contractors Provide regular progress reports to management   Competency Requirements:   Bachelor’s / Master’s / Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering Minimum 5 years of experience in civil design or maintenance of large structures Experience in construction supervision is preferred Proficiency in CAD, SketchUp, and other design tools Good computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Good communication and interpersonal skills Good command of English (speaking, reading, and writing) Strong planning, project management, and problem-solving skills   How to Apply: Interested candidates are invited to submit your cover letter, CV, education, and employment certificate to this link:   https://hr.namtheun2.com/jobportal
